PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The symposium is a three-day postgraduate course designed to present a review of current knowledge. Each day’s session begins with a continental breakfast followed by a series of presentations by a nationally recognized faculty. There will be opportunities for informal interaction with the faculty during the breaks and lunches.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
After completing this program, the participant will be able to:
1) Integrate new info into current clinical practice.
2) Review Standards of Care.
3) Identify current trends in multiple topics concerning trauma, general surgery, critical and acute care.
4) Compare new surgical approaches to dealing with common surgical problems.

EDUCATION CREDIT INFORMATION
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Banner Health System and The Phoenix Surgical Society. Banner Health is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for
physicians.

Banner Health designates this educational activity for a maximum of 17.50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

SEMINAR CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation policy: There will be a $125 cancellation fee if written request is postmarked or faxed on or before January 22, 2010. There will be no refunds, for ANY reason, for cancellations January 22, 2010 and after. All refunds will be processed after the conference.

If the meeting is cancelled by the Phoenix Surgical Society for any acts of God, War, Terrorism, or any other reasons, your registration fee will be refunded. Any prepaid travel/hotel costs will not be refunded, and are the responsibility of the registrant.
